About Clair

I am an integrative counsellor with the person centred approach as my foundation. I am very passionate about helping people whatever they are struggling with and counselling can help just because it is someone who is there listening without judgement. I consider myself deeply empathic and I haven't come across anyone who is beyond help. When Attended therapy you should feel that you are being listened to, accepted and understood.

Why did you choose to become a therapist?

Throughout my life I have suffered some major traumas and I have always wanted to help others through theirs, however it wasn't until I received counselling myself that I realised that was how I wanted to do this. I live what I do and I am deeply empathic to the struggles of others.

Why do you think integrative therapy is the most effective form of therapy?

Every individual is unique and integrative therapy works with the uniqueness of my clients. Integrative therapy gives me the freedom to adapt the therapy to suit the client.

How would you describe your therapy session & approach?

Whatever you are struggling with wether it be depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, or whether you are seeking to better understand yourself and your relationships, I offer therapy in a safe, non-judgmental confidential space where you are free to be you. I am a qualified therapist offering individual therapy encompassing a wide age group, diverse backgrounds and ethnicities. I have experience working with adults and young people dealing with a range of issues such as low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, abuse and trauma.

What are your Top 3 professional achievements so far?

I have worked for the council with people that were struggling with addiction and abuse. I currently work with children as well as adults and I have done a lot in the domestic abuse field which even included speaking at a conference.
