After having suffered a very close bereavement I sought support from counselling and saw the benefits of it across my whole life. I decided to turn my profession from a primary school teacher to a counsellor in order to empower others.
Having the adaptability and capability to choose a strategy or mode of therapy to suit the client and presentation of issues they may be facing in order to create understanding and empowerment.
We will walk through your experiences at your own pace, allowing you to explore a new perspective and find the tools needed to equip you to manage situations more effectively. Together we will explore the past, present, and future, identifying patterns of behaviour, thoughts, and feelings. Using authenticity and transparency, we will discuss a new way forward that will serve you a greater purpose. What to Expect from your first session In our first session, we will explore what has brought you to counselling and the experiences you are currently having. We will also touch on your past experiences to gain a greater understanding of who you are as a person. At the end of the session, we will discuss what your goals of the therapy are and we will work together in set intervals, to ensure your progress is focused and evolving.
