It feels like a job I was born to do. In my teens I was a befriender to children in hospital over 3 months, in my 20s to mid 30s I worked as a support person to those who were refugees, homeless and those with diabetes. At that point having already been in therapy due to my past childhood I trained 7 years to become a psychotherapist with a specialist focus on those who experienced abuse including survivors of cults.
One can blossom in various ways so do benefit from a more individual approach which means that everyone I work with will have an integrative individual approach.
When you contact me I will send a contract which is normal in therapy then we can book a weekly appointment. The session will last 50-60 minutes and at the end we will book the next appointment. I am an integrative psychotherapist so use various methods so each person has an individual approach.
Spoke at 3 conferences on trauma, chronic illness and online counselling. Have lived in 3 continents. I wrote a chapter about chronic illness for a book on Online Supervision.
