What hormonal health specialists do at Take a Seat
Hormonal health specialists assess symptoms, interpret comprehensive panels (DUTCH, day-21 progesterone, full thyroid panel, comprehensive male hormone panel) and design protocols spanning lifestyle, nutritional support and (where appropriate) HRT prescribing.
Who we're looking for
- GMC-registered doctors with menopause / andrology training, OR
- Specialist nurses with prescribing rights and hormonal health training, OR
- Functional medicine practitioners working in collaboration with prescribers
- Comfortable leading 60 to 90 minute initial consultations
Qualifications and registration
- Relevant clinical registration (GMC, NMC, GPhC)
- BMS-recognised menopause training, andrology training, or equivalent
- Independent prescriber status (where prescribing)
- Active medical indemnity
Responsibilities
- Deliver structured initial consultations and quarterly reviews
- Interpret hormonal panels and design integrated protocols
- Prescribe (where qualified) and coordinate with GPs
- Contribute to client-facing educational content
