What kinds of healthcare jobs are listed on Take a Seat?
Roles across prevention, longevity, performance and mental health: ADHD assessors and ADHD therapists, clinical and counselling psychologists, psychotherapists and counsellors, registered nutritionists and dietitians, physiotherapists, ICF and health coaches, sleep and gut health specialists, and private GPs. Every role has its own page with qualifications, typical duties and UK pay.
Are these jobs UK based, and can they be remote?
Yes, the board is UK focused. Assessment, therapy and coaching roles are frequently remote or hybrid because the work is delivered by video, while physiotherapy, GP and clinic based roles are usually in person or hybrid. Each listing states the location and working pattern.
How much do prevention and longevity healthcare roles pay in the UK?
It varies widely by discipline and setting. Employed clinical roles typically follow NHS bands or private equivalents, while assessment and therapy work is often paid per assessment or per session. We publish a salary guide for each major role showing NHS bands where they apply, private rates and self employed session rates.
Do I need to be registered with a professional body?
For clinical roles, yes: HCPC, BACP, UKCP, BPS, GMC, NMC, AfN or the equivalent for your discipline, depending on the role. Coaching roles usually ask for ICF, UKIHCA or a comparable certification rather than statutory registration.
Does Take a Seat take a cut of my fees?
No. We take nothing from clinical work. If you list a profile with us, enquiries go straight to your own website or booking link and you keep one hundred percent of your rate. Clinicians pay to be listed, never per patient.
How do I apply, and what if nothing suits me right now?
Apply directly from any listing. If nothing fits today, join the talent pool or set up a job alert and we will contact you when a matching role is posted. If you would rather take private enquiries than a salaried post, claim a clinician profile instead.
Can clinics and practices post vacancies here?
Yes. Employers can post a vacancy for review and it goes live once approved. Listings reach a UK audience of clinicians and coaches through the site and our LinkedIn and Instagram following of more than thirty three thousand.

Would you rather take private enquiries than a salaried role? Claim a clinician profile and keep your full rate.
