ADHD Coach Jobs in the UK
Take a Seat connects ADHD coaches with diagnosed adults who want practical, week-to-week support with focus, routines and follow-through. Remote-first, you set your own caseload.
What ADHD coachs do at Take a Seat
ADHD coaches work in 8 to 12 session arcs on the things a diagnosis alone does not fix: task initiation, time blindness, working memory scaffolds, emotional regulation and sustainable routines. The work is collaborative and strengths-based rather than remedial, and it sits alongside, not instead of, medical treatment.

Qualifications and registration
- Accredited coach training (ICF, EMCC, AC) or ADHD-specific certification
- Demonstrable paid coaching hours with neurodivergent clients

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be a clinician to coach ADHD clients?
No. ADHD coaching is a non-clinical role and most of our coaches are not clinicians. What we do look for is ADHD-specific training and clear scope discipline, so anything diagnostic or medical routes to a clinician.
Are clients already diagnosed?
Almost always. People still deciding whether to seek an assessment are directed to our ADHD screening and assessment pathways first, so coaching clients arrive with a diagnosis and a goal.
Is the work remote?
Predominantly yes. ADHD coaching runs well over video, and remote delivery is what most clients ask for. In-person is possible if you prefer it and have space.
