What ICF coachs do at Take a Seat
ICF coaches at Take a Seat hold structured engagements built on the ICF core competencies and code of ethics: contracting properly, coaching the person rather than the problem, and measuring against criteria the client sets themselves. Most engagements run 6 to 12 sessions across career transitions, leadership, founder performance and personal optimisation.
Who we're looking for
- ICF credentialed coaches at ACC, PCC or MCC level
- A defined niche rather than general life coaching
- Rigorous contracting, ethics and supervision practice
- Comfortable with remote-first delivery and outcome measurement
Qualifications and registration
- Current ICF credential (ACC, PCC or MCC) in good standing
- ICF-accredited training hours and logged coaching hours to match your credential level
- Active coaching supervision or mentor coaching
- Professional indemnity insurance
Responsibilities
- Deliver ICF-aligned coaching engagements, typically 6 to 12 sessions
- Contract clearly on scope, confidentiality and success criteria at intake
- Keep confidential session records and run periodic progress reviews
- Refer to clinical specialists when a presentation moves outside coaching scope

Which ICF credential levels do you accept?
ACC, PCC and MCC. ACC coaches are welcome where there is a clear niche and active mentor coaching in place.
Do you take EMCC or AC accredited coaches instead?
Yes. EMCC and Association for Coaching accreditations are treated as equivalent routes, and our general coaching pathway covers those.
Do you take a percentage of my coaching fees?
No. You set your fees and keep them in full. We do not take commission on your work.
