- Health inequalities awareness and a non judgemental style
- Good boundaries between coaching, social prescribing and clinical care
Qualifications and registration
- Health and wellbeing coaching training accredited by the Personalised Care Institute or UKIHCA
- Motivational interviewing and health literacy training
- Experience in primary care, community health or private practice
- Professional indemnity insurance
Responsibilities
- Run what matters to you conversations and co produce a personal plan
- Support self management for long term conditions alongside medical care
- Signpost to community, financial and social support where relevant
- Escalate any red flag symptoms to a clinician the same day
