Health Coach Jobs in the UK
Take a Seat connects health coaches with adults who want measurable change in energy, weight, movement and stress, and who have already decided to invest in it.
What health coachs do at Take a Seat
Health coaches run structured programmes, usually 8 to 12 weeks, built around a small number of measurable behaviours: movement, food quality, sleep timing, alcohol and stress load. The work is motivational interviewing led rather than prescriptive, with regular review points and clear handover to clinicians where a medical issue appears.

Frequently asked questions
Do UK health coaches need a licence?
No. Health coach is not a protected title in the UK, so employers look for accredited training, supervision and insurance instead. UKIHCA registration is the clearest signal.
How is a health coach different from a personal trainer?
A personal trainer programmes and delivers exercise. A health coach works across the whole behaviour picture, including food, sleep, alcohol and stress, and does not need to deliver the training itself.
Can a health coach give clinical advice?
No. Coaching supports the person to change behaviour. Anything that needs diagnosis, medication or clinical treatment is referred to a registered clinician.
