    What you are actually buying

Residential stays, from clinically supervised programmes with on-site medical teams through to hotel-based restorative breaks. Length runs from a two-night reset to multi-week programmes, and what is included varies sharply between the medical and the hospitality end of the shelf.

    How retreats pricing works

Prices are per night or per programme as published by the property, usually single occupancy and usually excluding travel, treatments booked on arrival, and medical extras such as consultations or diagnostics. Medically supervised programmes cost more because the clinical time is in the price. Rates move by season, so treat the figure as a floor rather than a quote.

Who this suits, and who it does not

Worth considering for burnout, post-treatment recovery, or a period where your environment is part of the problem. A clinically supervised programme is the right choice when there are physical symptoms or medication to manage. A hotel-based reset is the right choice when what you need is quiet, sleep and food rather than oversight. Neither is a substitute for ongoing care once you are home.

    What happens next

Enquire with the property direct. Ask what clinical cover is on site, what is included before extras, and what the cancellation terms are, then plan what continues afterwards, the gains from a retreat hold or fade depending on that.

    How this shelf is chosen

The list is short on purpose. Options are added by our clinical team when they are already used or recommended in practice, and each one is written up with its trade-offs alongside what it does well, so a page that only sells is a page we have got wrong. Some of the outbound links are affiliate links, which is how the shelf pays for itself, but placement, order and the wording of any review are never sold and a partner cannot pay to appear here. We recheck prices and inclusions at review and remove anything we would no longer recommend rather than leave it up for the traffic.

Prices and inclusions are checked at review and change without notice, always confirm on the provider's own page. Nothing here is a diagnosis or a treatment recommendation, if you want one, speak to a specialist or build a pathway.
